Nora's favorite thing to do when she gets home from daycare is to play with her blocks. We sit on the floor and pass them back and forth for some time saying phrases like, "give to mama and thank you" before she eventually grows bored of me and starts zoning out in her own little block world. I read an article about Frank Lloyd Wright and how he attributes his visionary gift of architectural design to his fascination with blocks when he was a small child. Who knows...maybe one day Nora will be designing state of the art skyscrapers in NYC. Let's just hope she isn't another Roark from The Fountainhead or something.
